S.M.I. International's BRIDAL EXPO has become the best attended, most business-producing bridal events to hit the metropolitan area. In order to accommodate this year round phenomena of planning a wedding, a full year round bridal production schedule has been added. Now no matter what date a bride has chosen as her wedding date, she will have access to the area's most successful and well-planned wedding event -- BRIDAL EXPO!

Returning to only the most attended and popular catering facilities, our show will reach a target market of affluent, cash rich market of brides-to-be in the Tri State area. The BRIDAL EXPO will prove to be an enthusiastic event; an exciting affair beneficial to both vendors and guests. Over $100,000 will be spend on media coverage that will include magazine, radio, billboards, the areas leading daily newspapers and over 50,000 mailers sent to newly engaged couples.

Benefits To Your Business

  • All brides will be given pre-printed door prize drawing forms upon arrival. They, in turn, will be required to visit each "Door Prize" booth scattered throughout the show to be eligible for each different drawing. This will create movement in the show!
  • Exhibitors will be able to sell directly to the public at the show. You are welcome to bring products for immediate sales, sign contracts, accept deposits, etc. just a you would in your own shop.
  • All attendants will wear "Bride to Be" name tags so you can locate th brides among the hundreds that attend.
  • The show is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow bridal businesses.
  • The show is set in an established professional atmosphere in the area's most popular catering facilities.
  • A complete list of all brides who registered for the door prizes will be available to exhibitors only the day of the show. Within two days of the show a walk in list will be sent. The list is correlated by wedding date, and includes names, addresses and phone numbers.
  • The show is an opportunity to feature your business in one central lacation on an equal basis with your competitors.
  • Each exhibitor that has paid in full by the closing date will be listed in our complimentary program given to the brides at registration. All exhibitors are listed by category. In addition, all paid exhibitors will be featured in all newspaper ads that feature the exhibitors on location.

Pre-Show Promotion

Bridal Expo, Inc. will conduct a five part pre-Expo promotion. A Direct Mail Promotion will begin 30 days prior to each Expo. Advertising usually includes radio, television, point of purchase displays, newspaper, and several special campaigns

Limited Merchant Participation

How many shows have you been at where there were 35 photographers, 15 caterers, 18 bridal salons, and 20-30 travel agencies? Brides come away confused from the show, and exhibitors don't generate their sales potential due to too many similar exhibits. Each Bridal Expo has a very strict percentage on categories of merchants. That means a 100 booth show will not have more than seven merchants in any specific category.

Post-Show Mailing List

After a Bridal Expo, each merchant will receive a complete listing of the brides who attended the show, including her name, address, telephone number and date of wedding. The Post-Show Mailing List is FREE to every merchant who participates in the Expo.

This bridal mailing list is also available on self-adhesive labels at a cost of $40, or on I.B.M. and Apple Macintosh 3.5" computer disc format for just $45. The Post-Show Mailing List, labels, and computer disks are available only to merchants who exhibit in that particular Expo.

Hot Lead Mailing List

Ever wish that after a show you could call just the brides that want to talk to you? Now you can. The Hot Lead Mailing List is produced just like the overall mailing list with one MAJOR difference. Each bride that enteres the Bridal Expo is asked to fill in a questionnaire listing the services she still needs. After the show, Bridal Expo, Inc. produces a list showing what each bride said she needed. If you're a bakery you will receive a hot lead list showing which brides said they still needed a cake; gown shops receive a list showing who still needs a bridal gown, and so on.

It's a wonderful way to target your follow-up after the show and it's a Bridal Expo EXCLUSIVE. The Hot Lead Mailing List includes the bride's name, address, telephone number and date of wedding. The Hot Lead Mailing List is FREE to every merchant who participates in the Expo.

Bridal Identification

As each bride arrives at a Bridal Expo, she will receive a special badge made just for her, shich will identify her as "Star of the Day." This will enable merchants to immediately direct their efforts towards the brides, helping merchant productivity at the Expos while making the brides feel special.

The Booth

Each booth at a Bridal Expo will be 8 feet deep by 10 feet wide, unless otherwise specified. This includes on six foot table, two chairs, a lead least, and company I.D. Sign are available for additional cost. Bridal Expo, Inc. offers a full line of booth design workshops to ensure your booth will have the best impact possible. Electrical power is available for a nominal fee at all venues.
